Moving from WHMCS to Doodali
Doodali imports straight from WHMCS: clients, their contacts, their invoices, and what services and domains they have. No spreadsheets.

Import straight from WHMCS
- In WHMCS, go to Setup → Staff Management → Manage API Credentials and press Generate New API Credential. Give it a role that can read clients and billing.
- Go to Setup → General Settings → Security and add Doodali’s server, 62.100.206.39, to API IP Access Restriction.
- In Doodali, open the business, go to Settings → Import and export → From WHMCS, paste your WHMCS address and the credential, and press Test the connection.
- Press Import. It runs in the background, and you can leave the page. When it’s done, you can delete the credential in WHMCS.
What comes across
| In WHMCS | In Doodali |
|---|---|
| Clients | Clients, with address, VAT number, status and admin notes |
| Contacts | The main contact and sub-contacts |
| Invoices | Paid, unpaid and cancelled, with their lines, numbered WHMCS-… |
| Services and domains | A note on each client with the price and renewal date |
What stays behind
- Draft invoices stay in WHMCS.
- The entries on a client’s Notes tab: WHMCS’s API can’t read them, so copy any you need.
- Support tickets stay in WHMCS.
