Moving from Freshsales to Doodali

1. Export from Freshsales

1. Open Contacts, choose the view with everyone, select all, and choose Export.
2. Pick the fields to include and export as CSV. Freshsales emails you the file.
3. Do the same for Accounts if you want their details.

2. Import into Doodali

1. In Doodali, open the business you’re bringing across, then go to Settings → Import and export and press Import clients from a CSV (or press Import on the Clients page).
2. Choose the file. Doodali reads the column headings and matches them for you: company name, email, phone, address, VAT number, notes, and the contact’s name, email, phone and job title.
3. Check the matches. Anything Doodali couldn’t match is set to “Skip”: choose a field for it, or leave it out.
4. Press Import. Each row becomes a client with its main contact. More people at a company that’s already there are added as its contacts, and clients already in Doodali are skipped, so you can import again safely.
