Sound familiar?

The work isn’t the hard part. The chasing is.

Records arrive in dribs and drabs

Bank statements by email, receipts by WhatsApp, the rest “next week”.

Deadlines in someone’s head

Year-ends, VAT quarters and self assessment, tracked on a whiteboard or not at all.

New clients by word of mouth only

Hundreds of companies are formed near you each month, and you only hear about a few.

New clients

New companies near you, every morning.

Scout checks Companies House each day for newly formed companies in the areas and industries you choose, finds their website, email and phone, and flags accounts that are overdue.

  • Directors, owners and accounts due dates included
  • “Accounts overdue” flagged, people who need you now
  • Kept apart from your clients until you make one a deal
Onboarding

Engagement letters signed on their phone.

Send your engagement letter for e-signature with a template you set once. Signed copies are kept on the client, with a certificate of when and how it was signed.

  • Templates with the client’s name filled in
  • A signed PDF emailed to both of you
  • Onboarding questionnaires by form, answers on their record
Recurring work

Every job, every fee, one board.

Year-ends, VAT returns and payroll each move across a board, with the client, the due date and who’s doing it. Monthly fees are tracked as recurring income, and invoices sync to Xero.

  • A board per kind of work, with your own stages
  • Recurring fees and what they’re worth a year
  • Invoices to Xero automatically

Questions,
answered.

Anything else, ask, a real person replies.

Does it replace my practice software or tax software?

No. Doodali is the client and sales side: enquiries, onboarding, engagement letters, the work board and fees. Keep your accounts production and tax filing software; invoices can sync to Xero.

Where do the new-company leads come from?

Companies House, which publishes every UK company as it’s formed. Scout searches it by industry and area each day, then looks for each company’s own website to find an email and phone.

Can I email the new companies it finds?

Limited companies and LLPs can be sent business emails without asking first under UK rules, as long as you say who you are, how you found them, and let them opt out. Scout only finds limited companies and LLPs from Companies House.

How much does it cost?

£19.99 a month plus VAT, with unlimited users, so a practice of twenty costs the same as a team of one. Every feature is included, and there’s a 14-day free trial with no card needed.

Spend your time on the accounts, not the chasing.

Bring one business across and see how it feels. If it isn’t better than what you have now, nothing’s lost.
